I hope this letter finds you and your little bundle of joy in good health. I was absolutely delighted to hear about the arrival of your baby, and I couldn’t resist buying a small gift to celebrate this special occasion.

I picked out a soft cotton baby blanket with a playful animal design. The material is gentle on delicate skin and will keep the baby warm and comfortable. I chose this particular present because I remember you once mentioning that you prefer practical items over decorative ones, and I thought a blanket would be both useful and thoughtful. Moreover, it can be used for multiple purposes—whether during naps, stroller walks, or even as a comfort cloth.

I would love to drop by and meet the newest member of your family in person. If it’s convenient for you, I can visit next weekend in the afternoon. This way, I can hand over the present and also spend some time catching up with you.
