📢 Cue Card: Describe a noisy place

Sample Answer:

Honestly speaking, one of the noisiest places I’ve been to is a construction site near my college.

This happened a few months ago when a new shopping mall was being built right across the road. I remember passing by it almost every day on my way to class. The place was filled with loud sounds — the constant hammering, drilling, heavy machinery, and even workers shouting instructions to each other. At times, the noise was so loud that I had to cover my ears or walk faster just to get past it.

The site was usually busy from early morning till late evening, and there was hardly a moment of silence. Even though it was a bit annoying, I understood that it was necessary for the workers to communicate and operate their equipment.

What struck me most was how the workers seemed unfazed by the noise — they were so used to it that they kept working calmly and efficiently. For me, it was an interesting experience because it made me appreciate how much effort goes into building something big.

So all in all, the construction site was definitely one of the noisiest places I’ve visited, but it also left me with some respect for the people who work there every day.
